I'll be honest guys, it's this one that's really got my eye. Again, it is expensive (especially for here) but it's literally one of my favorite aquarium inhabitants. Since i first saw them diving I've wanted the big worms with amazing color variations like these. However, to be rational, maybe its best to be patient and hope one comes up at a more reasonable price for this location.

I wouldn’t wait, if you like it take it. I learnt this a while ago and today I spent 300 on two pieces of coral. Was it worth it? Yes.
I came home with these guys for 300, I don’t regret it.

If you think you can care for them long term why not grab them?

That seems like a world record to me… don’t know anyone that had them survive even a year!
Maybe because they are most likely Aussey, instead of the Caribbean that used to be so common.
Mine is now almost a year old. Never spotfed them and didn't loose a single worm. The tubes have grown 1-2 cm and the porites has trouble keeping up and covering them (Real christmas Rock porites only grows 5mm per year).

$200 is too much? If you don't get them, please tell me what store so I can buy them at that price. I just bought 2 pieces from a vendor here at $350+ for each rock.
For here that's a lot more in comparison than in America is all...can I afford it? Yes, but here $200 can buy a LOT more than it can in the States. That's all...Also a lot of the shops tend to "share and divide" pieces from the same shipments since the hobby here is relatively small so there's definitely a chance other shops that charge more competitive prices for here will get very similar pieces in very soon. That's all I'm thinking. I agree that if I were in the States it would be a no-brainer!

In the long run it just depends if you like the rock.
Every rock is different and each has its own mini set of colours.

I know...the big worms rarely show up and are sold in an instant so there's not much time to compare pieces is the only thing. This one is going for about $100.

One way to truly enjoy them is to have a whiter spectrum in your tank. If you run heavy blues, you won't be able to see their unique colors more than likely

I have the small ones under good lighting where i can see the colors really well and I'd place a new piece in the same location if i get one. The above piece is probably the one I'd go for given the price and fact that it looks very healthy. The seller is just such a dick though that I have no idea what the rest of the rock looks like...

Ok guys... finally decided to pull the trigger and just paid for this piece after the seller offered to throw in this Lobo for $30 more... they'll be here tomorrow afternoon! The Porites with the worms is about 5 inches across and the Lobo is 3-4 inches.

Well guys...feeling very temped to get more!...these two pieces just came in and look to be in good shape. They're about 6 inches across (the Porites) and the seller only wants the equivalent of about $35 for either one...
