I have never seen a bad live sale from @CherryCorals. They always have great frags and great prices. On a buying hold myself due to upgrade, but I can’t wait til next year when my 225 is up and running.

I am intrigued by the purple sea whip that showed up a few times. Stopped myself because I wasn’t sure on the care requirements. Are they photosynthetic? Anyone know by chance?

Yes, they are. Mine has been very easy to care for, so far.
I do dose phytoplankton, shouldn't matter, but I wanted to share that in case it is relevant.

We have them in our acro system and do nothing special at all to feed them, they are photosynthetic and in my opinion easy to keep.

I picked up one of them. Really looking forward to having it! Will be my first, but all my research says they are easy to care for, do not require high end lighting, but will do well with dosing filter feeding foods (I.e. phytoplankton).

Question for Cherry Corals vets in here, have you quarantined your new corals from CC? If so, how long and under what conditions?

I will for sure dip them.

No. Honestly the cleanest corals I’ve ever purchased (3 or 4 different batches). The only thing I’ve ever found when dipping are pods.
