If you have the ability, you should always QT everything going into your main display. It is MUCH harder to treat a problem after it is in your display tank than if you took care of it before.

Yeah but my QT tank is white light only… plus how long do I need to QT for… the purpose of QT for fish is from parasites… what am I QT on corals for?

Coral dip does not kill eggs, aiptasia, vermatids, bubble algae, bryopsis, etc. It is also possible to introduce fish disease via coral.
