Eh at this point in my life, I like what I do. I left corporate America to pursue my own thing, and have done well. Like I said, I like creating things, and have been able to make a career out of freelance marketing, digital design, and retail management for small businesses. The only boss is the customer, I don't deal with all the soul-sucking crap of a corporation, and I enjoy creative work. I'm doing as well as I was financially working for Campbell's Soup and I'm consistently getting new clients. I'm going to ride this one out for a while and see where it leads. If all else fails, then maybe I'll go back to school. Who knows?! hahaNever too late for a change of pace. One of the guys graduating with me is a married man with three grown children who spent his career as a sailor and welder. Your Psychology/Philosophy undergrad has probably taught you tons about personal communication, understanding those around you, and teamwork. Those characteristics are some of the most important with engineers. If you can work with others and understand other people, you simply get things done. Lots of engineers may flounder in communication and teamwork.
Correct!
