This is typically a rare occurrence. I would not recommend going with this method but it doesn't hurt to experiment with it. I think you will quickly find its not worth it though. Maybe it was a different type of sale though...

Only thing to call out for those doing this for the first time, last time the listings appeared on the site several minutes before the post here. So check both!
I think what you are describing might have been a final post and the category was enabled a bit before the bot was done posting, probably because I went to sleep
You wouldn't normally be able to see any of the products on Cherry Corals unless you click the link on reef2reef.com.

@CodyBot will likely be gracing the thread with his presence sometime soon. There is sometimes a pre-game during the days leading up to the actual sale and then games/contests throughout the sale consisting of trivia, brain teaser, games of chance etc...This sale has the "epic pre-sale contest" described in post #2, so maybe there won't be a separate Codybot pre-sale contest as well.How do the give-aways work?

That's correct! My pregames and prizes will start during this week coming up, then like you mentioned, All Saturday and Sunday I will be playing faster, more active games! Todd gave me an army of amazing prizes for this sale, and most of those will be won on the weekend when the corals are actually being posted in the thread.

Easy to compare shipping as apples to apples, but we don't all ship the same. 1" bags with a home made box vs. 4", 5" , and 6" bags and a 1.5" commercially made stryo. UPS vs. Fedex (one doesn't care, the other sometimes does!) 40, 60 hour heat pack vs hand warmer.
1/4" frags vs 1.25" frags kinda look the same in macro shots.
All these costs add up to more than a $20 difference. Try us, you won't be disappointed.

Cherry Corals does pack more generously (more water and thicker foam) than any other vendor I’ve ordered from the past few years including the other ‘elite’ vendors. Personally I would rather spend an extra $20 on shipping to receive a coral that has less shipping stress. Their LPS frag sizes are usually good as well, but I don’t have experience with ordering SPS.

These guys are the best! Their corals are always super nice, clean and healthy! They pack their corals VERY well, and I have always gotten healthy corals from them. I never have to worry what pest or disease I might get when I order from them. Since my tank is 11 years old, I depend on good clean healthy corals, as I do not want to ad anything that may bring disease into my tank. I trust them totally.....So, yes, the higher cost in shipping is sooo worth it!
