Well,
I stopped by my photo store and had them replace my Canon 5D due to the sensor for WB wasn't working. They did with do problem. Got home tonight and started shooting some pics and enjoying the results when my 25lb cat walked by and knocked over my tripod that was hanging over the tank for top down shoots and guess what? The camera, 100mm macro went for a swim. OOOOOOOOOO. I guess I will be back in the camera store in the morning.
I already contacted my insurance company and they will cover it under my home owners ins. YEA!!

Make mental note: Keep cats away from tripod!!!:hammer:

I agree about the home owners ins. A few years back I rode in a bicycle roadrace and after the race I hung my bike on the rack and forgot to secure it and a 5000.00 bike went hopping down the street at 60 mph and they replaced that too! I likey state farm.

oh man, what kind of bike was it?

i used to do cycling until i broke my leg in a snowboarding accident several years ago. i lost a ton of muscle mass in my leg from being on crutches for 4months, and i could never get it back and get back into good enough shape to continue.

so i ended up selling my road bike, and kept my mountain bike. it was a trek 2300, definitely not $5k worth, but i definitely had over $2k invested in it.

The bike was a Opera Leonardo FP. I had it customized to fit 215lbs. All carbon except crank. Very nice bike! I miss riding in road races. I missed the Hotter than Hell this year. Maybe next year.
