I got a candy cane 3 weeks ago it hasn't really looked the same as when I bought it I think it looked a little better when I had it on the sand bed for a day or 2 when I first got and was trying to find a spot for it... It eats when I feed it just looks like the flesh is receded and it's happy

Nitrate 15 ppm
Phosphate.025-.030
Dkh 11 I try to keep 9 or 10 new batch of fritz rpm is mixing higher than usual and I also just realized my reagent is far out of date and I'm at the very bottom of the bottle maybe some new reagent for more accuracy

Try lower light and lower flow. Usually they're a bit more fluffy looking when happy.

Had this happen to me as well. Try lowering the temp of your aquarium a bit. My lfs said that candy canes tend to like it a bit colder than other corals.

I keep telling myself I need to move it I just don't wanna hurt the coral more than it already is the other 2 corals are pretty happy albeit they are soft corals... Every one says don't change the tank for 1 coral so I guess I should try moving it it's pretty much slowly dieing where it sits I hate grabbing these sensitive creatures with my Snickers bars for fingers I feel too handsy when I touch them especially the smaller ones I can't get my fingers on well and especially when I have to break the glue holding them down
