Yup, no fish, no ick, that’s the way it works. There is no fish so I should keep it fallow?
Just no fish in the DT, that will end them.

But as a new reefer learn from this. Clowns are notorious for disease. So only look for tank bred not wild caught and QT them.fair enough
Oh!Then I'll temporarily remove the rocks and then replace the sand as i have already dosed some copper into the tank
will a 5g plastic box work as a QT for clownfish, as i don't plan on keeping any other fish? But as a new reefer learn from this. Clowns are notorious for disease. So only look for tank bred not wild caught and QT them.
No you will have to dump the sand and rock. Water change won’t work for copperWill the tank be okay if I do a massive water change to get rid of copper and other bad things?
I looked through the manual of the medicin and it said nothing about doing it in a QT. The only thing I've found regarding precautions was this:Oh!
That’s not a good idea.
Copper kills.
No, corals are inverts, and you absolutely need inverts. Clean-up crews are 99% inverts snails, crabs, urchins, stars they are all invertebrates.but if i don't plan on keeping inverts in the future, will corals still be fine?
Lesson learned for the future i guess. No you will have to dump the sand and rock. Water change won’t work for copper
What inverts do i need for a 25g tank? No, and you absolutely need inverts. Clean-up crews are 99% inverts snails, crabs, urchins, stars they are all invertebrates.
Trimaran is useless. Snake oil IMM.I looked through the manual of the medicin and it said nothing about doing it in a QT. The only thing I've found regarding precautions was this:
but if i don't plan on keeping inverts in the future, will corals still be fine?
Corals are invertibrates. Snails are essential. Brittle stars are great algae eaters. Urchins are too. What inverts do i need for a 25g tank?
so will Trimarin mess up my tank or is it fine?Trimaran is useless.
Only copper and hypo for ick and fallow for DT.
That’s all that’s effective, tested, tried and true.
Everything else is a leap of faith.
So when I get the tank up and running again I should get Nassarius snails and a brittle star or an Urchin?Corals are invertibrates. Snails are essential. Brittle stars are great algae eaters. Urchins are too.
Should be fine.so will Trimarin mess up my tank or is it fine?
So i don't need to restart my tank?Should be fine.
Neither. So when I get the tank up and running again I should get Nassarius snails and a brittle star or an Urchin?
Do you know of any hardy fish except Clownfish that are pretty? Don't know if I will trust Clownfishes not to have disseasesNeither.
A new tank requires no CUC members especially ones that consume a lot of stuff.
Just get the bio-filter going and start fish add after you’ve finished the fallow period in your DT.
No, not with that product. So i don't need to restart my tank?
A Royal Gramma is a great fish provided you have rock work and the tank is at least 20g.Do you know of any hardy fish except Clownfish that are pretty? Don't know if I will trust Clownfishes not to have disseases
Just for future problems, why does increasing temperature to 81 reduce the fallow period by so much? No, not with that product.
Just stop it, it’s useless.
Wait the 76 days at normal temperature or elevate temp to 81 and go 45-50.
