I have some torches n hammers in an older 34g Red Sea Max. Took the tubes out of the hood and stuck an AI Hydra in there. And no I'm not talking about newer stuff like Hydra 32....64's....hell.....not even the SOL. These are original 4 puck.......5 LED's per puck Hydras.

As for lighting you'd laugh your backside off if I told you what's growing my stuff!!

Definitely proves a point that with certain corals you don't need to splurge.

Water quality makes a far bigger difference than lighting! Crappy water and “the best lighting” leaves you with crap growth no matter what.
