Hi everyone!

I've been in the saltwater hobby for a little over 15 years and the entire time I've had 2 different 75-gallon aquariums. My first 75 was not drilled and I used a canister filter. My next 75-gallon was a Marineland reef ready, which is what I am upgrading from now.

On August 22nd, I ordered an SCA 150-gallon aquarium from SC Aquariums website. I ordered the model drilled for the Synergy Shadow overflow. The last two weeks I've been slowly emptying my Marineland. Today is the day for the delivery of my 150! I plan to post about my task and equipment but wanted to get a thread started to hold me accountable! :)

I upgraded my 75 gpd RODI unit to 150 gpd with a booster pump. Making water real quick now! I also bought two 200 gallon boxes of AF Reef salt during BRS's labor sale! Will be my first time using AF, in the past I've used the red sea blue bucket.

Almost 2 weeks since the tank has been up and running.

I did the start up from Prodibo, AF life fill, and moved over a dozen bioballs from my old tank to jump start the process. After 2 days, I added my first live stock from one of my local fish stores.

Blue sided fairy wrasse
Purple firefish

A few days later, I did an online order from Reef Beauties:
Bella goby
Hippo tang
Red fin fairy wrasse

Slowly moving all my LPS over from my frag tank and a few zoas I picked up at a local frag swap. I'm continuing to dose Microbactor7. I saw some diatoms briefly for about a day, they have since disappeared. I also added 24 small astera snails for the first additions of a clean up crew.

The next fish on my stock list are
Yellow coris wrasse
Nakos Fairy wrasse
Midas Blenny

Also got my skimmer up and running (bubble magus curve 7) and I had to order a replacement o-ring for my UV sterilizer which should be here next week. Overall the tank is doing well. Fish and coral.
