I've never personally used that fixture. However t5ho is arguably the best light. Do some research into what bulbs you want to use as well

Ai primes can cover a 2'x2' area when put up on the 12'' stand,(I believe). I ran ! AI prime on my 45 and it covered almost perfectly. Sure more lights is better but 1 for now should be fine.

Just a kind reminder to read the thread. He has a tank in a place that can not support high brackets. There are alot of details in the thread of how the topic of light options have gotten to where they are now. Also the here is a par breakdown of the ai prime 8 inches off the water. EDIT: 8 inches

Check the Reef Breeders V2 fixture.
I ran the 24” over a 40 breeder for almost 3 years. I was able keep just about everything alive, that my parameters would allow.I think they have an 18”light.

The current USA light is able to support nems if they are up the tank. I had mine mounted about 3" off the water and the nems were 6ish" down and they thrived. had 3 of them ranging 4"-6" in size. But i like the new lights. Definitely doesn't hurt for when you want those Sticks. Tank is looking sexy with the new lights

Yeah I was running out of time to return the current lights so basically swapped and paid $20 more for these. Now I sit back and maintain and slowly add more softies and such
