Picked these guys up Monday. Little bleached but a lot of potential.
I thought I had all rainbows, pretty sure I have a diffrent variety as well? Can anyone identify the one in the upper right? Pic is with iPhone 7 and clip on gel filter.
Looks almost like a Black Widow BTA. In the disk at least. Tentacles are not red enough, perhaps.

Here is the rainbow bta I had in my last tank. First pic is all lights on and second pic is just blue leds. Can’t wait to add a nice bta to the tank I’m currently cycling

I do love me some BTAs!!
I use the forums on and off for a dozen years here and there. When in the heck did bubble tips become so hot? Over the years I have seen all sorts of btas come in the LFSs but I cant think of a time they were so hot and pricey as of now. Is this a recent phenomana? Thanks.
I should state, I suppose, i have 6 in my tank. Dang things are quickly becoming a pest because i planned on only 2. But since I have 2 clown pairs in the tank I keep them along with 2 carpets.

This is my 29gal biocube. Been running for almost 5 years now. Started with 3 RBTA now maybe 15 or so. Newly added the green and waiting for the Black widow I bought from kvnsu.

Just picked up three at WWC, rainbow( bottom) Hawaiian Punch and Flame (top) Sorry for crappy IPhone/ all blue LED pic. Also just made it in the tank. Will update when settled and fully open.
Clowns making a home
Wow some awesome looking BTA! I had several Greens years ago and sold them off and the clowns. Got more clowns last year and have been looking for a local BTA and found a bleached one the other day and tried to save it but it never came around. Anyone in N.C. have any BTA splits? Don’t need any fancy colors just want a healthy clone of course. Thanks.
Here’s on of the ones in my nem tank. I have a bunch of rainbow nems, 2 maxi minis, 1 acid wash green nem, 1 light blue with orange tips, and this Chicago boy.
Beautiful nems. Which strain is this orange one?
