When you got it did it look close to the pic?

Don't get me wrong, Vivids has very nice corals but there is something about their pics that throws me off. Their pics always have this "shine" to them that I have never seen a coral have in person. I wish they would share daylight pics instead of all blue pics. Some days I want to buy their corals just to take pics to show what they look like without that "shine". Even when I bought my confetti from them, sure it's a nice coral but it didn't "shine" like that pic he sold me of it.
Yes it looked like the pic. Pretty much everything I’ve gotten from them looks like the pics. Idk they take very good pictures, just how you look at it I guess. I run radions and t5 so the time I’m home I see a pretty good split of white and blue light. I have some corals that look better under white and some under blue. I don’t understand why people get so hung up on blue pics if they’re clearly blue pics but I guess that’s just me.

Do you run your tank under all blue lights?

That is why I always ask about it and I always will, I think most people run blue lights for about 1-2 hours a night. 95% of their pictures are under 100% blue lights, they even admit it and when they have sent me "daylight" pictures it looks nothing like their original picture which is why I have passed on every coral.

That’s a lot of corals! Kid in candy store

Wow! I feel like that other kid staring at the one who got the better presents at Christmas. What an awesome pack!
I am pretty excited for these! I requested a couple I already have as I think my tank is doing better now than when I first got them. Like the Houdini I have had over a year and it's still a 1/2" nub.
Here is the list for anyone that had a hard time reading the bags.
Firecracker table
Snipers blue
Red devil nasuta
Rainbow Brite
Hyperberry
Rainbow loom
Aussie Echinata
Angelica
Cemetery party
Space Laser
Bellicose
Deep purple lokani
Gilligan
Kenberry
Flowers grow out my grave
Pink cigarette (what a name)
Daisy pusher
Houdini

If my tank was empty this list still wouldn’t fit in my tank! Where do you fit it all!?!

I wish you the best of luck on all EXCEPT snipers blue! I hope it stays a 1/2” nub for the first year [emoji6]

I've found writing the names on the bags... Prebagging, helps it to be more legible. But I'm also a lefty so anything I write needs all the help it can get anyways.

Great list Bubba! Your acro list must be a mile long now!
The way you write it is the same way I do it. I could understand your writing easily. My handwriting is still bad even with my right hand, so it is probably still hard to read what I write on the bags

You’re going to need a bigger display soon lol
Display tank room ran out long ago, lol. About a month ago I added a tiny rock just to add one more coral, lol. I have two "frag" tanks I put corals in.

How’s ur space laser look mine is amazing I hope the colors stay
I think that one is going to be really special. I am wanting to see what those polyps look like tomorrow when they are fully out!

Bubba, whats your process to get all these frags in the tank? If you covered it in here just send me the post number please :)
It's always fun to get corals but the process to get them in the tank sucks and seems to take forever. I first take the bags out and give them a visual inspection to see if they look okay. Then I let them float in the bags in my tank for 15 mins. I start making my bayer dip while they float. I then take each coral out and look over the frag plug for pest and inspect the corals with a flashlight before they go in the dip. If the plug looks like it needs changed, I change it then. I then dip each coral and baste them to blow off any would be parasites. Rinse them off in a second bowl of clean water and in the tank they go. I don't do any coral acclimation with dripping water or anything like that. Today took about 2 hrs from start to end to get them all in the tank.

I shove them in the frag tanks, lol.

I love the trash talk. I wish people did more of it in the last contest. My snipers already grew an inch today. I got this contest in the bag! Thanks for buying my next battlebox! :p

That’s the reason I joined the competition. Its another way to keep the hobby entertaining. Next time I’m in central Florida I may have to come by and drop a penny in the back of your tank to give me the upper hand.

I knew there had to be a reason you started the competition! You were planning ahead... in a year you’ll be getting another free frag pack.

They are 50 gallon Zoomed Lowboys. Dimension are 48"x 24" x 10". Back on post #778 you can see them.

Lol duahhh I’ve seen those. Whoops!
What kind of lights do you have on them? Do you like the dimensions with them being so shallow? What are you using for flow? I’m looking at getting another as I sell to some local stores and need to free some space up
