I had a couple people ask about making the frozen food I use. This is it besides I add clams but the store was out.

Total cost was $8 and took about 10 minutes to make. I just throw it in a food processor until it is the consistency I like and then put it in a ziplock bag.

In person it’s more purple than blue but I couldn’t get it to look right. I am real curious to see what this will be like grown out.

That's the hardest part with pictures. So often it can look nice, but not the same.. There's just these particular hues and colors the camera decides not to work well with.

I had a neon baby blue acro that was just a show stealer in person -- whenever I tried to take a picture of it it came out dull and had a green tint which you didn't see in person.

IMHO, good pictures are basically black magic.

I find blue and purples to be the most difficult. I have the Tyree superman tenuis, which is a nice blue coral but every time I take a pic, I just end up deleting it as it never comes out right.

Same, I've trashed that picture a million times too.

An old classic, Palmers blue milli. This is another one I don't like to take pics of because it's so hard to adjust the blue. I think it looks better in person but it's the best I could do with the pic. I frag this one often and it grows crazy fast. I would say a 3/4" frag will regrow in just over a month.

We live the same life... [emoji23]

Terrible for pictures but grows like a beast.

I got good shots of it oddly under LED with a cellphone. Can't get a good shot under T5s to save my life.

I love this coral and agree with everything you said. I had it in my system two builds ago and it grew really well....and I can never seem to get Millis to grow.

HA ha, are setups are really close to being the same. We run the same t5's and the same SB reef bars. I just setup the other tank under leds, maybe I will set it in that tank to try and take a pic and see what it comes out as. I have noticed frags that were under my t5's that I moved to the radion tank has definitely shifted colors already.

I think this one is one that needs a nice base and then it just takes off. I put a frag in my display but all it's done is encrust with no branches yet but the display frag is 10x more fuzzy for some reason.

Amazing pics Bubba!
Thanks! I am trying to get better. Every decent pic I take, I delete 10 others, lol.

I haven't used my A6500 on the blue milli yet, but my phone (galaxy s8 using AZ Camera to adjust white balance) makes it come out purple lol

However in this picture I took at the same time, you can see much bluer colors (far right)

I always wanted a Palmers Blue, may be hitting you up soonish for a decent chunk if you do that. First I need to make some room haha

Room is what's always tough to come by. Let me know when you are ready.
