By the way... That Christmas maribellus looks very similar to my "RRU Strawberry Fields". Almost an exact match lol.

What do you think, similar or not?

And sorry buddy, not trying to spam your thread with pics [emoji23]

Thanks for the happy birthday!

Possibly. The only difference I see is I get blue growth tips.

I don't mind pics added to my thread at all! You got some nice polyp extension BTW.

Hey bubba,

How much did you pay for the budgie? Last I heard it was $1299 a frag, but I doubt you paid that. I have RR Robinhood which imo looks very similar, however mine is a nub so well see. Here are the vendor colony pics for comparison, RR first then two of the budgie.

Btw, your Christmas mirabilis could also be wwc heartbreaker (last pic).

Really? My pink Floyd couldn't get any more yellow even if you painted it
Could be because my Floyd is colored horribly. It's growing and has great PE but color just isn't there. When I look at pics online I get sad when I go look at mine, lol. :(

It was a little under a grand. Vic said they are normally $1000 but the one I got was smaller and not colored up as well as this other one they had for sale. The two pics you shared look similar for sure.

My Christmas Miribilis sure does look like the heart breaker but maybe not as pink.

There's like 20 corals that look like pink floyd. Here's three off the top of my head.

- Pikachu
- diabolic pacman
- wwc what the heck

Topic isn't fresh in my mind it seems, I used to remember aot more than three!
Good to know thanks. I already have Floyd would hate to buy a identical piece.
Its my birthday this weekend and we are planning a cookout. We are waiting on a family member to see if they have Saturday off. If they do I'll pick it up Sunday and if not, I'll grab it Saturday.

I think a lot of yellow ones look similar when they are small. I feel the difference comes out when they are larger. I have the Pink Floyd but always struggled with the yellow.
Happy birthday! Today is my birthday also.

Where do you have your Pink Floyd? Mine was school bus yellow, one of the brightest pieces in my tank. I added 2 xr15s and it browned out on me. Moved it down and it’s starting to come back.

Happy birthday! Mine isn't until Saturday.

I think you're onto something with the Floyd. About a week ago I added eggcrate into my frag tank and it lifted up my corals in there. I looked at the Floyd and it looks to have less color today. I'm gonna move it to less par and see what happens.

Thanks. That was my observation in my tank, worth a shot. Seems to be coloring back up quickly now. I also struggle with keeping any nutrients in the water though.

I do water changes but not on any regularity. Besides just adding water when I added that extra tank, it’s probabl been a month since I did one. I think if I had less water volume I’d do them more often.

yeah 10% for me now is one of those 32 gallon brute garbage cans. It’s a lot of water to always be making.

I love my calcium reactor! I have started to dose kalk along side the reactor, so I do have to mix up chemicals every couple weeks . I enjoyed not having to do for a long time.
