This one was green for the longest time but is starting to look stunning and is quickly rising to the top of one of my favorites. This is how it looks to your eyes and this pic is not under all blues.

Wish I had an SPS frag system I could fill with tiles. I love the look lol... I've really grown to appreciate frag tanks for their own aesthetics. Never thought I'd appreciate them and enjoy them as a tank but I kind do. It's like having white walls in an art gallery, meant to not detract from the artwork (or acros!).

Great stuff @bubbaque. I hope to have my corals flourishing like yours one day.
Thank you, sir!
Do you use them for chalices or encrusting type coral? If so when they grow out and fully encrust the tile are they easy enough to cut and make frags with?
I have never used them for that so I can't really say. I seen @Renton uses something similar for his chalices so maybe he can chime in.

I have not specifically used the tiles from home depot, but I have used various frag tiles for growing chalices and encrusting corals. I cut them with the Gryphon XL Aquasaw Diamond Band Saw. The home depot tiles may be a little thicker but I would expect the saw would cut them just fine.

It definitely will. I have the same saw and it cuts them with ease... then again it’s a diamonds doing the cutting. Just have to remember, don’t force it, let the blade to the cutting.
