Thanks!

My display tank is overcrowded with coral. Most of them are already encrusting into each other. I use the tiles in frag tanks as just another place to grow coral. I actually like the tiles better than the display as I can pick the corals up and get a better look at the colors.
Very Cool! I"ve go my youngest son (4) almost daily asking on almost a daily basis "Daddy....when are you going to get a bigger tank" Now only if I can have Mommy listening on those conversations! Gotta keep the kiddo's happy right!!

That is cool your son enjoys it. Both of my kids could not care less. My son does like to help me bag up corals when I sell some but I think that's more of just wanting to be a helper.

What's the highest ph you run into Bubba? I just put a CO2 scrubber online. My PH reaches 8.4 today and it's climbing. I hope it won't kill anything.

The highest it goes is 8.41 but that’s not often. Randy Holmes Farley has this article out that says up to 8.5 is okay. You might want to be careful though about how fast you’re raising it though.

I read that too. My cooling fan can raise my ph to 8.3 when light is on. Thanks I’ll keep my eyes on it.

Someone asked about the TSA rainbow fusion a couple weeks ago and I tried to take a pic with my good camera but it kept coming out bad. I was messing around in the frag tank today and snapped a pic with my phone. Not the best pic but you can see the colors at least.

Is this a slow grower for you? Mine has barely done anything. Just slowly encrusting...

Very slow. I think it might be picking up speed as this is the best growth edge I have seen on it.

The frag behind it I bought from a local guy about a month ago who said it's the TSA Rainbow Fusion. He had a pretty big colony so maybe it's not a slow grower for everyone. His colony wasn't as colorful as my frag and I am not 100% sure it's the same but it's slowly gaining color and looking more like my frag so I am hopeful.

All his frags were very large. That RR Event horizon I posted a couple days ago came from him also. It takes me about 45 minutes to drive to his house but it's well worth it.

To my eyes the Jolt and the Rainbow fusion look the same. My Jolt also grows very slow like the Rainbow fusion. Maybe one day when my frags turn to colonies I will put it to the test by sticking them together.

Is there a certain co2 scrubber media you like to use? Any one better or last longer than the other?
I have only used two brands and one is no longer sold. I would go with the cheapest you can find.

Why 2 frags of the same on the same tile?

I sell frags every now and then to help me buy more frags. Even if they are the same I wanted to make sure I had the correct lineage for each.

I really like it and wished it would grow faster.

Why 2 frags of the same on the same tile?
I don’t want a bunch of the same coral all over so I stuck them together in hopes I would get a larger colony faster. I hope they are actually the same, lol. If they aren’t I might be in trouble.

Sounds like he is likely to help to get rid of coral.

bubba in your low boy, do you have the tiles directly on the ground or do you have them on some egg crate or something like 1-2 inches off the ground?

I am getting mine tomorrow so wanted to see what you were doing for that.

Also, what do you do for flow in there?
