I know I share this coral often but it's just because I like it so much. :D

Also my Paletta pink tip has actually started to get those pink tips after just being a solid green coral for so long.

That is gorgeous.
The pink tips look amazing.
Hopefully a third sprout is growing soon out of that Paletta base.

Give me all the likes! Lol.

Seriously though the “likes” is what I feel motivates people to post. I am glad I have a lot of followers to my thread but there are so many threads where people post pics and they get no or very few “likes”. Eventually you see them stop updating their thread. I can think of this one poster in particular named Mindy (I forget her r2r name) where she stopped posting and I asked for an update. She came back and said she didn’t think anyone followed her thread and asked for people to “like” that post if there were followers. She ended up with a lot of “likes” and was surprised how many people followed.

I am glad there are users on here like @NY_Caveman, @Fudsey @Janci and @Wrangy (I know I am missing some) that will “like” pretty much every post someone makes. As insignificant and useless a “like” is, it might be just be what someone needs to keep posting. I am not talking about my thread in particular but if anyone finds a thread they like give the user a few “likes” to keep them motivated.

This is exactly why I do it. Even I have had that moment when you post something and it get completely ignored or missed. Makes you feel a little small. I try and like as many posts as I can in the threads I follow. If it's someone's build thread, I usually like every post :)

The All star. It looks amazing! It's the coral I always point out to other hobbyist when they come over to make sure they see it, lol. It's still mainly encrusting at this point but the polyp color is still gold as can be.

You got to see it at WWC right? When I bought my frag it was still over in the farm.
You have a pic of this I can see Bubba?

I don't have a new one but it's on my pic list with the acrolandia frag. I should be able to get the camera out this weekend.
The last pic of it was two months ago back on post #1479 (page 74). It pretty much looks the same but with more encrusting and it's sprouting a new branch out the right side.

We need a "likes given" counter under our names next to likes recieved! This forum has a lot of members who like to share the love and show others we are here to listen, learn, help, etc... I think it especially helps to keep new members engaged and excited!

Thanks @bubbaque for talking about this and highlighting why reef2reef has the like feature!

My palletta is the exact same. Green forever. And of course the time it takes off my tang said nope, breaks it off. You’d think with a 400g and plenty of room for them to swim they wouldn’t do that. Jokes on me

@NY_Caveman would be miles ahead of everyone else. I’m pretty sure 90% of my like received are from him...

My tangs use to beat up my Vivid Confetti all the time. I thought it was never going to grow.
