I did TONS of manual removal. I just grabbed it when it weakened and pulled it out and rinsed my fingers in a container or fresh water and then repeated a 1,000,000,000 times....lol

Yeah, me too, but until I treated with Tech M, it just came back a few days later. Just nasty stuff, thats all you can say about it. It is certainly more convenient if your tank residents do the removal work for you, though.

Do you have anything that will eat algae? Like a tang or something? I think the Tech M weakens the stuff, then the algae grazers take it out, at least that is my theory. If it has turned brown, it should be going away.

What is your mag at?
Yes i have three tangs, they dont seen to like it much..I have also been losing sps, and some lps last few day's, just cant figure out what's going on..Mag is at 1450..Alk 9-9.5..Cal 460..p04 .07..Sal .026..Temp..76-77..I went from 3 150 wt mh setup over a aga 125 to a Constellation and im only using 10 out of 14 39 wt bulbs, so i dont think i am nuking the stuff.
