Has anyone with a waterbox ordered these 4" filter socks from BRS? I picked up five each of the 4x8 mesh and felt filters, but the 4" ring is slightly oversized and doesn't completely fit in my waterbox sump. I can only slide about half of the plastic ring into the hole. I haven't measured yet, but visually comparing the ring of the waterbox filter to the one from BRS, the BRS is noticeably larger.

Wondering if this is a known issue or maybe it's a fluke. Perhaps Waterbox has a tighter tolerance on the hole for the filters?

Most likely answer is that the Waterbox holes are metric. They are made in China. We have those issues from time to time with foreign made product. Pump fittings come to mind immediately.
Contact BRS and let them know the issue. Their customer service is awesome and may have an off the shelf solution for you
