BRS and Icecap 2k gyre

So as I am sure many of us did, I placed an order with BRS to take advantage of a good price. I ordered a Icecap 2k gyre pump to add to my existing 4k and hydros wave engine le. I placed the order on the 29th and got the order acknowledgment saying tracking to come. The morning of the 31st I emailed wondering the progress of my order. No reply but a email with a tracking number for my order comes late afternoon. Tracking said delivery June 1 so I am all excited to get my stuff. My UPS guy comes and throws the box on my doorstep. My wife says wow hope it's not broke. I bring in the box which is like one cubic foot in size but VERY light. As I open it I am concerned. They shipped me a box of AIR! It's full of those little air pockets with the cart add ons, a sticker and a discount card. NO PUMP!
Inside the box is a sticker stating the pump is backordered! what the heck! Why in the **** would they ship a freaking sticker! Have we completely lost our minds at BRS?
Needless to say, I feel shafted. Eventually I might get my money back, they'll probably want to retain shipping for this useless sticker I received. Furious doesn't quite describe my feeling right now.

There is usually a sticker on the inside of the box for the packer or packing bot. Wonder what was on it.

Wow that does not sound good, I can imagine how you feel, empty box saying backordered, somebody has to pay for the empty box shipping, I would make a Phone call Monday to talk to them what is happening, there should not be any backorder because they Dropped Hydros, I hope you get this resolved.

@Asm481 ... in the interest of eliminating the box of air thing, I removed the sticker and card from my cart before checking out. I, too, had taken advantage of the MAP abandonment pricing and ordered a GHL Mini WiFi. That order has been in picking since the 29th.

Also, I'm seeking some clarification.

Why was this particular order placed on back order, when other hydros orders were flat out cancelled? Afterall, they all come from CoralVue. And is it even possible for you to fulfil backorders from CV after your smash and grab sale that broke MAP?
