I'll start by saying that I'm not bashing FWE, it worked perfectly at killing FW's/nudis for me.
I had a couple of small nudis show up in my tank, so I dosed 1.5x per the instructions (1x dose first, then 45 mins later another .5 dose)... I only saw between 5-10 tiny nudis (1/3-1/4 a grain of rice) and maybe 10-15 (MAX, that's probably on the high side.. both the nudis and FWs are suspected to have come in on a frag only two days earlier so the populations were very small) miniscule brown flatworms come off the rocks over the course of an hour and basted more than half out of the tank, and most of the rest were trapped in my filter sock which I rinsed/replaced every few minutes for an hour.... so I'm pretty positive it wasn't their toxins. Fish/pistol shrimp/hermits/corals were unaffected.
All three sizes of brittle started stiffening up and going nuts, all of the micro whites came crawling out of the sand and a few may have died, unless they were just paralyzed temporarily and lost their grip. After a WC and 24 hours, most were back to normal, I can't confirm whether it killed any of the micros but a couple were floating around during the first hour in the exact same way that the nudis/FWs were.
My largest 3 nassarius also started sliming like crazy and shot for the surface like they were trying to get out (not the small ones for some reason)... my large brittle barely pulled through, he was hardly moving for 18 hours or so. I would definitely recommend QTing any brittles you don't want to lose, especially when using higher doses.
I still definitely recommend this product, I haven't seen a single nudi or FW since.... but just be prepared that it may potentially wig out your brittles.
