What a beautiful tank! Can I ask what fish you have?

There is this blue with yellow tail...What is it and does it nip at your SPS?

Thank you! I currently have a rhomboid wrasse, banggai cardinal, harptail blenny (pictured - does not nip coral), tail spot Blenny, yellowline goby and psychedelic mandarin :)

Inspiring to say the least! I'm about to add a couple clowns to my 40 breeder that's been running lights out with just dry rock, sand and water for the last 6 months. Any tips for the first year using dry rock? Thanks
Thanks! Best thing I can suggest would be to get some diversity in there. Add a small piece of real live rock, an easy coral, some live copepods, etc. Introducing those beneficial microbes will really help accelerate the tank through the first year of immaturity and potentially help combat some of the nuisance organisms that like to take hold. Other than that don’t make a ton of changes because the tank has to get settled in and established. The more you mess with it the longer the maturation process will take. :)

Hey Daniel! The tank is doing great, thanks for asking! The new frags have been growing well and the colonies are looking awesome! Here’s a nice FTS to round out the week! :D

That bubblegum monti puts the acros to shame.

Great to see a smaller tank with such epic growth.
It definitely is a great piece! And yeah I have to say I’m impressed with how it’s filled in despite the inherent limitations of the tank lol ;Hilarious

Brandon, before and after the new install of the Aquatic Life DX18 Hybrid T5. I went with the floating wall mount because I liked the look and the functionality of being able to raise and lower the fixture if needed.
Thanks Brandon for the recommendation on the T5’s as when I turned them on…….Shazam!! no more shadows and super bright. I’m excited to see some accelerated growth and am contemplating putting on some more acros.

That’s great! And you’re welcome! I think that setup will serve you well! :)
