@sfin52 we were such a bad influence on everyone
@Robin Haselden has oneGFO reactors. I need some input. Who's running them?
So do I. Heather rolls her eyesEveryone in my tanks gets kisses and conversation!
Just toying with the idea of using them in the Miracle. How did you tie yours into your sump?I run dual BRS reactors GFO and carbon WHat ya need? not that im expert but will take a swing
You are a horrible influence on me! Tangs and Angels!"Don't do it mate!"
... I can't help it!
"It is a bloody little pest!"
... I love it and they will too, it's just a bit "frisky!"
Mine are mounted to the top frame separate pump from first chamber inflow with effluent going into return section. I got the large reactor wish I got the mini size as I don’t need that much gfo and carbon and they take up too much real estate.Just toying with the idea of using them in the Miracle. How did you tie yours into your sump?
Can you use singly with the dual? I'd rather have the option for both or either.
GFO reactors. I need some input. Who's running them?
I have a cheap Aquatop MR20 reactor I got off Amazon. Between the plates I keep carbon, so it doesnt grind itself into dust, and under the plates just sitting on the bottom is 2tbsp of GFO. The inlet pipe goes all the way to the bottom and flows up thru the media, so it keeps the GFO stirred, kinda...@Robin Haselden has one
Leave one empty. Itll just fill with water and flow thru. Can you use singly with the dual? I'd rather have the option for both or either.
Yep, they work just like RO canisters I believe...I see the mini is not sold as a dual unit? Buy 2 and connect?
That's what I thought.Yep, they work just like RO canisters I believe...
My bag of carbon works just fine, and I think the bag cost $3Do y'all really see a huge benefit of a reactor v/s bags of carbon?
