I cannot wait to see the white overflow with the frosted glass. It was hard for me to imagine, but I searched and saw some cool ones. It looks nice and maybe it also made me think of Olaf a little bit.

For @sfin52 and anyone else who might be interested. This is an UNBELIEVEABLE deal...

I am. Just with out the led hybrid. That's one heck of a find.

Ahhhh... so you're looking for a T5 only fixture.

Considering they typically run around $300, I agree about it being a good find. I thought it was pretty strange when I saw where it's listed.

i guess that’s how Mother Nature does it!! Aren’t you worried about the DSP long term, or do you have the right CUC that keeps it clean?

I don't worry about it and there is a decent cuc in there, in my opinion observation is key with any tank and experience helps.

Now let's talk sandbed. I'd like it deep enough for some interesting critters and a leopard wrasse one day. My sandbed now is around and inch. I was thinking 2" for the new tank. Is that enough for a wrasse or jawfish? Or would we need more?

I just ordered a Serene background kit for the Miracle. They have refused to let me order the background film from the larger kit separately. So...that film will fit our crab tank. I would like to match the film as best I can with something available at the hardware store.
