Front every couple days. The left side Ive done once. The right side I’ll do it every week. Back, I just blow the top part off with the turkey baster cause I can’t reach any lower, but I only do that because I get a cyano like film over the diatoms, that flakes off and the blenny won’t touch

Cyano is toxic to a lot of things, the algae it needs is under it, are you fighting the cyano?

I hate having to watch this thread but I miss questions and replies! ;)

"Where is that ginger bird?"
- Hun, she's American, potentially sensitive, you might want to try lady or wench, tone it down a bit!
"Oi, ginger wench?!"
- Ermm hun, this is not working! ;)

The Prime rib roast is doing a mini dry age in the fridge out in the garage. 13.27 lbs. of roast. I cut 3 lbs. off and froze it to be used at later date for philly cheesesteaks--I'll slice it up thin with the meat slicer. Can't believe the price Costco has for these roasts. It would have been a $450 rib roast at Pat LaFrieda's or the like.

Kind of. It’s going away just slowly. I’ve upped my water changes and changed feedings. I was feeding every few days. Now I’m feeding daily but smaller amounts, and twice on some days. I’ve got more hair algae coming in which she devoured in the past. Not messing with it as much now.

Let a side of the glass get grubby, blow the cyano off ( do you have a sump?), they love the film algae.

Here’s some pics of the tank. As you can see it’s not much cyano, it doesn’t get on the substrate, just diatoms. You can see how far down the front I go, and the sides too. Also the rocks and everything. She’s got algae she just doesn’t eat at it.

Yes I do. I put the felt sock in again to specifically catch the cyano.

That looks like lawnmower heaven!! My blenny never ate anything but what he could scavenge for himself, wouldn’t even touch nori. I would try and put some on a clip for him, only the cleaner shrimp would pick at it.

edit: don’t think lack of food is the issue :/

Yeah I’m not sure why she’s not eating, it’s like she’s not happy with the selection now. I plan to get a zucchini and the algae wafers. If she doesn’t eat the wafers the shrimp will.

Headed to go get rewinds nails trimmed. If she only knew lol.

Well atleast you can take her places to get her nails done. The only place we can take Zoey is the vets to get her nails done, she needs to be knocked out. Had a bad experience at daycare once, they clipped a nerve and anytime you go near her paws with clippers she makes it very clear it's the last thing you're going to do on this earth. It sucks cause we are kindof limited with the frequency we can do it because it costs $350 every time so she usually gets them done twice a year.
