I have noticed a lot of growth over the last month. I guess his hole got too snug.
My rainbow RFA moves daily... they say RFAs don't move. I'd say 9/10 don't move and the 10th moves for the other 9. Growth is good. Beats the alternative.

The frags are looking a little worse. If the water change helps then I’m pretty certain it’s time to start dosing.

Will of course have to confirm with tests (to you hasty folk). I’m hoping this is all that’s going on.

My only concern would be that the params of the new water are significantly different than your tank, you want to test those as well. (Ex: you’re at <9 DKH and put 13 Dkh water in)

What does your salt mix at? I know you were waiting on a Hanna... you're using reef crystals?

I’m not going to do a 50% wc or anything. Plan is to do 20% a day for the next 2-4 days.

I know the params of my salt but won’t jnow the tank until the checkers come in.

That’s correct.

Calc 420
Alk 12
Mag 1260
Those are current tank params? Me personally... I would hold Ca where it is, allow kH to slow fall to 8-9, and raise Mg to 1350-1400. That's just me tho. You can run that kH if that's what you want tho, but I would still raise Mg to 1350.
