They turn lights off in the city that never sleeps? Ours stay on all night. ;)

Ha! They just want people to go home. They cleared the ice too. Now they start power washing the sidewalk. They have a land zamboni and a couple of guys with hoses.
I didn't even notice the ice... what's that stuff about?

Y'all ever play PUBG? Got a chicken dinner without ever killing anyone... one of my friends is really good at that game. I suck at first person shooters. Just don't have the reaction and coordination with a joystick too aim a gun. I was deadly on COD World at War on the Wii tho. I had the blaster that you could aim... used to get all the kill streaks.

I am brand new to saltwater. My son got an 8 gallon bio cube. I know this is too small, but I promised I'd try. I have 1 piece of dead coral for decor and that's it. We hope to have 2 tiny fish and maybe 2 shrimp. We also like hermit crabs. What equipment, substrate would you guys suggest? I'd like to use easy (forgiving) live macro algae to help balance this tank. Please be kind with responses. I have been called names elsewhere and was referred here to learn.
An aqua clear HOB filter. Substrate dry sand. Consider getting a 100 gph powerhead. Maybe 10 pounds of dry rock from your LFS.

Coldest place in the continental US... at least from what I've heard. I've been as far north as Toronto in February... to Niagara falls and even on lake Ontario at night. That's as colder than I ever want to be again.
