Both! The only stock one is the army green that came with the Xbox, I got a special Battlefield edition.

the others have upgraded triggers and grips, and my Panthers one got all the options lol (of course that’s the one that lasted the least amount of time!)

It's a bummer the Panthers one didn't last. I'm super stoked that I can link these things to my laptop without adding anything. Bluetooth in a gaming controller, who would have thought! I hope the connection is good enough though...

I wish they would cross platform games like COD and Battle Field. They have only done it with the lame games no one cares about. Although I'm sure it would lead to TONS of fights online PC VS Xbox players would get REAL ugly. Heck they could throw upgradeable graphics cards and processor options into the Xbox and make some good extra cash to level the playing field a bit

Next gen consoles! Xbox already has one you can buy, doesn’t really do much for the current crop of games though. Cross platform gaming is cool, but someone will always have an advantage unless it’s between ps4/Xbox (except ps4 let’s you use a mouse and keyboard!).

to get the panthers one, it had to be sent to a third party to modify and I’m sure that’s why it didn’t last, it never quite fit back together properly I don’t think. Not sure if that’s still how Microsoft does it or not, even the custom color ones are a year old now.

I think that upgradeable consoles would eliminate the advantage over PC the issue is it would cost an arm and a leg. But those diehard gamers will pay crazy prices for just about anything. Could be a new market

Yes definitely! Especially if sweaty palms is ever a thing for you.

Would love to be able to add RAM, etc to my Xbox, but when you start allowing people to modify their consoles you open up an entirely different can of worms (especially in regards to cheating/hacking!).

that's so true, that's why if I want to be competitive, I just use a console, else if I just want to have fun , I play pc games

The only way to gain an advantage in console gaming is to have an extremely fast/consistent internet connection. Like me

(There are custom controllers as well for games like Fortnite, I don’t think even that should be allowed!)

in PC gaming it is pay to win IMO. Just ask someone like Tfue how much $$ they spent on their gaming setup and why...frame rate (FPS) and graphics quality make such a difference.

Not the only way, using a gaming computer monitor can give you a real advantage as well (Maybe it's the screen qualities as I'm not sure why it works?), all the top players I played with ran on computer monitors, I still preferred my 46" TV.

Best would be to have a cathodic screen too , doesnt have a lag

In the past this was true. It’s a pixels per inch thing, as well as response time. However, not all TVs are created equal, and as TV tech gets better and better I think the differences have become more minute. I play on a 4K 60” Samsung and don’t notice a difference, my monitor gathers dust. I guess for different games it might matter more, but I primarily play Madden or Fifa and seeing the entire field at once is really important for me.
