Since my acan finally recessed, I can take pics of the new heads. I think he has 3, one obvious one (might have captured aptasia on it).
I’m not sure what it is, the last two weeks I’ve finally witnessed what I think is real growth in my coral. It’s all just kind of started out no where.
My cloves are sprouting a new head every week (same with the fireworks in the frag tank)
3 new heads on hammer:
Every candy cane polyp is splitting (I think one may even be splitting into 3?)
First sps branch split (kind of hard to see, the rightmost branch)
New blasto head (also hard to see since it’s in the shade)
Lepto is encrusting over coral crete added just 3 weeks ago:
I was certain this lepto had died two months ago after a freshwater dip. It was flush white and then algae started growing all over the tissue. He’s starting to fluoresce hard again.
I’m definitely more lucky than doing things correctly but they’re liking something. The frag tank is the same way despite all of those frags being two weeks old.
