Good morning thread loyalists!

Old spam - from when I actually had a tank ...

I never could get a good picture of this tank (my 140). It looks like a rock wall scape, but it is actually two islands, connected with a large arch in the center. There was a huge hole in the center of the scape and you could see all the way back to corals on the back wall. Two-dimensional pics just never captured what it really looked like. :(

I know where you are coming from, to your eye you see more than a camera can capture I’m still looking to get a decent photo of my tank to do it justice especially at night when the corals are in there full glory. Your scape and corals still looks great you have some good growth there.

Not too shabby eh?

And @Sarah24! I think we can give you a pass this time, you've got enough going on. Happy to see you check in and share your updates with us in your thread, keep on healing! :D

Hello friends,

Thanks for the darling posts and prayers. I’m definitely trying and it’s a challenge I must say. At least today i only have to get out of bed once an hour to keep muscles moving and demonstrate I can use the walker and chair in the shower, and move to wheel chair. I have to say they made me do two laps around the hospital floor, and my arms where exhausted (mainly right arm since I shelter my left still), but those sure don’t seem to coast well on carpet. (Lol I know this is gonna come up but no they don’t have 70s shag carpet lol). It’s just that really ugly door mat type carpet. Just wait till both arms work I won’t need a car, I have a self powered wheel chair lol as soon as I get strong enough I’m sure I can do speeds definitely less than 55 but more than 40’on the side walk.

Keep progressing things seem like they take forever to heal then before you know it you're back to normal or as close as you can be. Keep your hopes and your head up! Sending good vibes!!

Two weeks and two days, and I have made it through the entire thread. There are so many fantastic conversations that have taken place, and I wish I had been a part of all of them. You all are an amusing, inspiring, intelligent group of people. May I join? I know, the new guy brings snacks.
@Katrina71, this thread shows so much about your curiosity, humility, intelligence, giving, and humor. There is a reason all of these other great people keep coming here. My daughter, is the same age as Andrew. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you share this with him.
I know that you all love enabling. I finally decided to make some coral additions, beyond my solitary green leather toadstool. That last urging I needed was this great group of enablers, so thank you!

Thank you! I’m an avid reader, and there’s so much knowledge (and fun!) to be gleaned from this thread. Love your pirate tank, and can’t wait to see what you do with big one, with all the free time you have coming up.
