Figured I would start a build thread. Following the continued issues I kept having with my 180 I decided to punt and downsize. I'd always liked cubes and envyed 30" front to back depth so the Marineland Rimless 93 seemed to be a perfect fit.

Equipment List:
Tank: Marineland Rimless 93 (30x30x24) with Synergy Overflow
Sump: Custom Smoke Atomic Reef
Lights: ATI SunPower 8 Bulb Dimmable
Skimmer: ATB Elegance Pro 200
Flow: 2x Ecotech MP40QD
Heaters: 2x Ehiem 150 watt
Return Pump: Jebao DC12000 (will be upgraded sooner rather than later)
Top Off: JBJ ATO, Atomic Reef 10 gallon Top Off container
Controller: Apex
Calcium and Alkalinity demands will be handled by a Geo Calcium Reactor with a Reef Fanatics regulator controlled by the Apex
Salt: Aquavitro Salinity
Filtration: Warner Marine ecoBak bio pellets

I plan on having a mixed reef but SPS dominated. I've got a good amount of corals in a holding tank waiting to be added into the tank and have three fish I'm keeping from the 180 in quarantine right now, a female divided leopard wrasse, a magnificent fox face and a scooter blenny.

I'm pretty horrible at updating these things but I'll try.

You're going to love this tank, great dimensions and will be a breeze to maintain compared to your 180. Nice list of equipment, going to be an awesome set-up. Looking forward to seeing it come together. Good luck !

Thanks @Jimbo. I've already realized how much less equipment is going into this when compared to the 180. I can't wait to play with the new MP40's. Been working on programming this Apex.

So, got a little bit done to the cube this weekend, its kind of stuck in a holding pattern as I wait for this algae bloom to dissipate.

Its rather ugly.

I did get the electrical cabinet housing the Apex and Vortech controllers among other things organized and tidied up. I'll get proper pictures of that soon.

I've upgraded a few pieces of equipment and added a few others.

Added a WXM and Break Out Box to my Apex. I changed out the Jebao DC12000 for an Eheim 1262 and I'm waiting on a Tunze Osmolator to control my top offs, I'll move the JBJ to my QT tank.

I've moved over all of my corals that were in the holding tank most seem to be doing very well. Seeded my pods by adding two bags of AlgaGen Tisbe pods just letting them establish a little before adding my fish from the QT. Tank is still going through its newness ugliness.
