Hello all, my friend bought me a birds nest acropora two days ago. It doesn’t look too healthy in my opinion so I am concerned my tank isn’t up to snuff, the rest my corals are really healthy and growing just this one isn’t (or maybe I am just overreacting)
My tank parameters are as follows
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Phospahtaes: 0
Nitrates: 18
Ph: 8.2
alq: 200
I’ll add better pictures when I get home

Yes, it looks like it’s a bit white so I am concerned if it’s unhealthy. It is brand new to the tank but I Wanna make sure it’s getting a good environment
But I have also never had one before so I don’t know if that’s normal coloring lol

Thank you so much!! Very much appreciated
Both are SPS that like similar conditions but birdsnest is more forgiving to keep. Yours is looking fine to me, they do change color once they settle in. Mine got a deeper pink.

Can you Super Glue it to a Frag Disk? Then you can attach it to the back glass, where it will have plenty of room to grow. I used a plug on mine, but put it too high in the tank. Mine is glued to the Internal Overflow.

yeah I actually glued it to a frag disk not long after the discussion. Bad picture hut it has it has a lot more room to grow
