Order placed. I skipped the mud and the nitrate dosing, due to already being $50 bucks over what I wanted to spend and I got confused on what the best type of dosing product would be best for nitrate. I figured I'm not that bad at 10 and I can keep using natural methods if needed.
I have neo nitro and neo phos should you need them. PLus nutrient rich water we can send your way. No3 at 25 Po4 at .238

Thanks.. I figured maybe some of your fish poop might be needed at some point. Your poo might be too rich for my baby system though :winking-face-with-tongue:

I've never added mud but its not like I've had resounding success so dunno.

Alright people. I need something else to obsess about while I wait for my UV and watch dinos continue to get out of control :(

Assistance and input needed.
Summary: I want to put something aesthetically pleasing on my rimless tank to deter jumpers. I have gone back and forth with this a lot in my head. My tank is a little less straightforward then retangle screen frames due to my corner drain weir. I'd like to create an acrylic rim that would act as a euro brace, held up by transparent clips.
I have it all mapped out pretty well but I'm running in mental issues while creating the Left side upper corner.

I'd like to get a quote for acrylic strips that are 3.5" wide (im open to changing this part if you think that is too wide) and then gluing them together to create a frame .

There would be two of these, noted by "RIGHT SIDE" "LEFT SIDE". Again, the RIGHT SIDE is very straight forward. I could assemble the strips and then cut out the section for the light mount

The left side is where my brain is struggling. would it be best to get one big triangle for that side and then cut out the corner for the overflow section? is there a simpler way to do all this? Please help! hahaha also remember if you provide a suggestion, to talk to me like I'm five. :winking-face-with-tongue:

Disclaimer. I know my overall dimensions need to be adjusted so this panels sit inside the tank. I'll figure that part out once I have better understanding of dealing with the curved overflow.

Cool plan! I don't know enough about acrylic yet to say if the panels will be strong enough. Are you doing left / right sides for any reason beside perceived ease of build?
Would you rather have front and back?
Try to design your ideal top first; then start from that with another design with all your compromises.

the left ride is because I thought the shorter length would hold up better.

does your overflow go right to the top of the tank or is there space above it to allow for a top?
it goes right to the top... which is why I am trying to work around it. :( other option is to rest screen lid on the entire top of the tank which I thought might look janky
