interesting ... mine was like a light brown or tan color.
Similar.

I'm not 100% it was a bacterial bloom, just assumed it was and it went away after 3 days or so. It was kinda early on in the tank so I figured it was semi-uglystage stuff.

yeah I tried to give mine time to "ride it out" and see what happens but it was starting to get ridiculous and smothering my sponges ,GSP (yes I know I know) and inching its way towards my other corals. It also created a huge nasty mess every time I blew off with the turkey baster.

I used a tube and suctioned them into a disposable filter sock.

I did a little of that... the sock was gunking up really fast and then I got irritated.
same. but worth it.

I got the 1st version of this used (new in box):
and really love it. I use two of the relay modules with it instead of their DC pumps so I can run big boy pumps up and over my ceiling.

My long term plan is to set up something like this through Hydros so I'm doing incremental WC's and ATO.

it really only needs two sensors and two pumps (three if using as ATO too). the secret sauce of this device is how it handles its state.
like it'll stop pumps that are running too long and knows where it was at in power flashes...

Crooked FTS! Plastic is off and I turned the lights on just for the picture. I’m gonna run blues through the weekend.
I need to:
Set up carbon reactor
Treat for flatworms
Set up ATO
And redo my scape once I confirm the nasties stay away.

Eventually it would be nice if I would get my Alex set up as well. :zany-face:

My youngest is the craziest of the bunch too. He's even had stitches to prove it, although I believed him anyways.

It's funny because although Alex is completely nuts, he is the one I worry about the least between the two.

Except for when it comes to injuries. I swear he needs a helmet 24-7

Why is this? I've literally said that to my husband, mine seems hell bent for hospital visits.

He's the only kid I've had to install cabinet locks on the UPPER cabinets. There was a period of time where I had no dining room chairs either, he would use them to climb everything. Now he just uses upper body strength so I brought the chairs back.

He's only 4. I'm doomed.
