Thanks! The wind and cold really messed with some of the effects and we only got about 700 kids this year.. that’s about half as much as normal but the feedback was good.
Ya, here in Ohio the weather did the same. I was working until 7:00 and have over an hour commute but I watched the ring on my phone, very low turnout. Happy Halloween !

Maybe I missed them but what did you do with the huge skulls you got? That's amazing btw. Good job!
They are inside… one by the front door and one by our fireplace. The inside of my house is just as much (maybe more :squinting-face-with-tongue: ) decorated as the outside.

Im gonna need another house just to store all these decorations lol.

How’s the tank? I need updates!!
The biocube is doing great. Maintenance has suffered slightly due to other needs. The big tank is ok I guess.. there is some algae that looks slimy but creates big long strands that keeps trying to take over… I’ve looked at is under my crappy microscope several times and it doesn’t look like Dino’s… but if I don’t turkey baste several times a day, it covers everything. I also still have flatworms I need to address once I get my carbon reactor going.

I need pics of your tank! It’s been so long since I’ve seen them. I forgot what they looked like!

Did you have an ato on your Evo? Mine really needs an ato, I'm constantly letting it get too low and spitting bubbles from the half dry pump. I have an ato in the box somewhere, I've just never set one up so I was hoping you'd have the perfect spot advice.

I didnt. I used the stock lid, so the evaporation was easily managed with topping off by hand.

Ok, I went topless and now it's a struggle to keep it full.

Did you use the stock foam media that came with it? I'm thinking of chucking mine. I feel like it's keeping the water level weird. The first chamber is still full when the pump chamber is empty? So it makes me think water level is fine, until the pump starts screaming at me.

So many questions!

That is bizarre. Have you taken the foam filter out and cleaned it lately? About once a month during the water change, I would squezze it out and run the water over it to get the built up gunk out of it. I did keep the stock foam media and left the plug open, the whole time I had mine running. However, my tank served me a coral and invert quarantine So I went very minimal on the upgrades. I have read a bunch of people upgrade the filter system in that tank. Most people go with the intank media basket in chamber one and plug that hole that goes into chamber two.

I did plug that hole, my bta was flirting with it and I didn't want disaster. But I think it's found a happy spot, so I'll try to open it back up to see if that helps.

Ill be honest, I haven't touched that foam since I set it up. Whoops.

It could just need a good rinse then. No judgement on my end. I do the least amount as often as possible. ;)
