Best reef ready tank deal of 2024 - whose looking for a new tank?

The pump puts out a ton of flow and I've got it dialed way back. I need to get a vca random flow. Anyone know what size?

Apparently you just separate a knuckle of 3/4 lockline and this is designed to snap right on

The rating is 420-500gph but they said to overdrive it with a solid 650-700 or more and it can provide current for the whole tank without additional powerheads

Thanks, I've never used lockline, is it difficult to remove a knuckle? Judging by the flow I'm probably moving around 800 gph.

It’s bendable at each one of the joints so you can direct it wherever you want. Each one can snap off it does take a little force

FYI just put the ATO in yesterday and it has a slow leak on the outside fitting. So check yours before you install it. Hopefully I can just super glue it.

Mine arrived today, I won’t be able to set it up for a few weeks but I was able to open the pallet and inspect and take some detail pictures and found some nice touches

1 - no pic but on the outside rear glass they attached adhesive foam pads so the pipe doesn’t rub off the black paint on the back.

2 - Sump pics - includes a lid for the sock section



3 - stand off bracket to relieve the weight of the drain pipes


4 - since the back is solid they have a bulkhead for the return pump


5 - storage area with cable pass throughs


6 - ato is smoked acrylic with guide rails and slides out to refill




7 - they included filter socks


8 - finish detail


9 - acrylic ato bracket and float


10 - plumbing kit


11 - ghost overflow

Wasn’t long before I realized I can get 3d printed reef gear, and then I found corals also! Periodically I search for custom pico and nano tanks and then one day I found this tank and was like woaaahh that’s a great price. My first thought was that there’s probably several people on the forum about to upgrade, or wanting to upgrade but the cost was stopping them.

I had to make sure it was legit before sharing on the forum so I asked the seller tons of questions and validated it was legit. When I felt comfortable we weren’t going to be scammed, I posted it!

I’m glad for the people who got one, it really is a well built tank and looks great!

How well does your filter sock lid fit? Mines a little off and the ATO leaks at the fitting.

It fits very good but default way it was on was backwards and didn’t sit right. I rotated 180 degrees and it is much more snug. I didn’t test ato yet

I put molycote where it was leaking and it's seems to have stopped. I try turning the lid tomorrow.

I added an ATS. It's a tight fit but I think it looks clean enough, just have to do a bit more wire management.

The drains drains go into narrow chamber - a silencer and bubble trap before moving on to the rest of the sump

How is the noise level? Any splashing or gurgling sounds ?

I put the lifereef return under water, so the sound is isolated to the system (except for the air draw of the skimmer) , there is some gurgling from the sock area but not enough to bother me.
