I saw this one in my googling. However it only has room for a single heater... unless I can connect two in parallel. Do you know if this is possible?
I have a standard Inkbird with one plug for a heater and one for a chiller/fan. I added a second heater to my tank for the winter and just use an outlet splitter.

Maybe you could use the same method on the one above?

Woops, don't know what I was thinking but my math/memory was way off.

I've had my first Ranco for closer to 25 years. I remember seeing them all over the facility when I worked for a fortune 500 company and I had this unit in use for a few years at least. I quit that company in 2000.

The second Ranco I employed is 8 years old.

I use two Rancos one is the primary and is set with a 1°F differential. The second one is on a separate electric circuit. It is set at a 2°F differential and only comes on it the primary can not keep up.

I use Rancos at work to control chillers in a welding shop which is a very dirty atmosphere.

Is there a Ranco in which you can plug your heater directly into it? If not, can I please ask how do you actually do this?

I have mine hard wired but you can purchase a Aqua Logic that requires no DIY. Rancoetc also has them.

Also, just to reiterate something I may have already said in this thread. These are the exact same controllers your neighborhood grocery store (mom n' pop or big box) uses to control their coolers and freezers. In the relatively un-extreme climate of your house, they should last just about forever.
