Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, but been reading for awhile. About a month back I was given a Biocube 29 already up and running with some Coral, Cleaning crew and Basslet Royal Gram! Well Notice the Gramma has some type of white spot growing on top in front of his Dorsal fin,. In the Nape area. Wanted to get a little input from everyone, All my Level seem great except for Phosphate around .5ppm due to someone in the house using some tap water.. cough cough, they where trying to be nice. Anyhow pictures posted.
I will admit I am new to the Salt Water, I have been doing Cichlids (threw the last picture in of one of my Freshwater Tanks ) for over 13years and decide to try something new.

Thanks Everyone!

It could be a wound that healing?

But after inspecting your photo it seems that it is also on its pectoral fin. So my guess would be Saprolegnia.

You sure can take some good photos. That fish needs to be treated, eventually it's fins will rot off. If it makes it that long. For the fungus to attack a live fish the fish has got to be ill in some manner first. Also it would be a good idea to use carbon filtration on the tank.
