Finished adding sound dampener to inside of stand today, hope it works! Neoprene for bottom of stand will be here tomorrow. You can see my competition obedience poodle in the second pic, he is not enthused with me having another hobby. He is used to being the center of attention most of the time lol

Interesting idea with the sound dampening. I'll be curious to see how well it works for you. I'm guessing that is automotive sound dampening material?
Yes it is a knock off brand of dynamat extreme. Decided today to go ahead and install on the bottom of the stand under the neoprene matt. Should have that installed tomorrow

Test fit LifeReef sump/refugium/skimmer with a bit of help from my wife's cat tonight. It fits! (ordered filtration from dimensional drawings of stand). I also put a neoprene pad on the bottom of stand. Need to figure out some filtration lighting for service.

How are you liking that Jakarta rock? I'm about to order some myself.
Happy with it so far. Nice shape, cycled super quick. Seemed to be rather high in phosphate, high test was .44 with Hanna. I used lanatham chloride to lower as it is still in my QT room. Traveling with my dog for obedience training right now will check mid next week and let you know where po4 is then

Where did you order it from? I'm having a hard time finding stores that order from the 2 wholesalers that carry it.

I ordered from Whitlyn Aquatics, Evansville IN. They hadn’t dealt with Carolina Aquatics in some time but were willing to order it for me. They are local to me so they picked up at the airport and called me

Slowly working on plumbing the tank. Liverock seems to have settled in with nitrate about 10 and po4 .02. I hope to move liverock from quarantine in shop to display at home in June, I’ve got a couple dog obedience trips planned coming up and don’t want to start the display up right before I leave town
