Baby bi colour Angel not eating

Hello I bought a bi colour yesterday and he is not eating is it normal for bi colour’s not to eat for the first two days. He seems to be okay but he does hide when he sees me and sometimes he just hides cause he’s new and he is very small probably 2 cm I have never seen a bi colour that small

Lot of fish don't eat the first few days. Make sure the food you are trying is size appropriate for the size of the fish. Angels need sponge in their diet to.

Yes I know but at this size I am not going to feed sponges I will give it a couple months until I feed it sponges and I feed mysis brine fish eggs plankton algae squid veggie diet marine quintem marine mix and all food with garlic

I always ask to see the fish I'm interested in eat. If it doesn't eat, I don't buy it. This hobby is too expensive these days. Hope he comes around and starts eating for you.

Why would you wait on putting sponge in their diet? Thats probably even more important in their diet if its a baby… sponge in angelfish’s diet isnt really optional or a “wait until its bigger” thing its pretty much mandatory to keep them and keep them healthy. Getting a food with sponge might actually help it to eat.
