That's how I hung my CCG2s. Smart man.I have a similar setup (for halides) of aluminum rail.
Newer than 2021.4?There's new firmware out for both the original and new pros, UI looks a bit nicer. Updated both units fine.
Mine are the original Stratons. As far as I know we can’t get the Straton Pro in the StatesThis are the straton or straton pro.

Thanks for sharing this! I was looking at the NA site.
Support » ATI-Aquaristik
atiaquaristik.com
That is the home site for ATI.DE. ATI HQ has been very odd at releasing firmware in a proper, concise place for much of the fixtures life, but they are getting better. The NA site still lists some old firmware, they don't seem to be in the loop on much coming out of HQ in regards to the Straton tbh.
I've been running these 3 ATI straton over my 300G SPS for a year or so now. I'm still struggling to determine if the coral are happy or not. Some are full colors, others are quite pale. I try to keep nutrients up and all trace via ICP.One would do it. You might have slightly less PAR at the way ends, but not bad.
I run 3 ati straton my of my 300G DD, similar dimensions (wider for me), but I added 6 LED bars from reefbreeders, 2 blue, 4 uv, mostly for night viewing and supplment.I'm beginning to wonder if I should have went with four fixtures instead of three... for my Red Sea S1000 (82.7"x26.75"x25.6") predominately SPS mixed reef. ATI recommended three.
If so, then I can't recommend LED over T5. I have not been happy with results by far.Zachtos, if I remember correctly, you had some bleaching when you first added the Stratons, didn't you?
If the pic you attached is current, it almost still looks like the corals are adjusting. Stratons are great, but I don't think we will ever replicate T5 or metal halide with LED. It just isn't going to happen.
Odd question. Do you have a brother named Jeremy? If so, then I can't recommend LED over T5. I have not been happy with results by far.
Hi Zachtos,If so, then I can't recommend LED over T5. I have not been happy with results by far.
@zachtosdo you have a picture right before you switched to the Stratons and a pic that is current? Would love to see. Thanks. If so, then I can't recommend LED over T5. I have not been happy with results by far.
Not a fair comparison for photos, as a bunch of corals died after changing to the Stratton. Some corals thrive, others just get pale and die.@zachtosdo you have a picture right before you switched to the Stratons and a pic that is current? Would love to see. Thanks.
I'm waiting to see what the new straton pro can do,as the original, were disappointed my German friends that the beginning jump on the hipe, now all sold them and coral farmers in France not use them because. They say the spectrum is not good enough.I think there is a reason why ati stop this mode so quickly.Mine are the original Stratons. As far as I know we can’t get the Straton Pro in the States
Odd since the published spectrums are not that much different between the 2.I'm waiting to see what the new straton pro can do,as the original, were disappointed my German friends that the beginning jump on the hipe, now all sold them and coral farmers in France not use them because. They say the spectrum is not good enough.I think there is a reason why ati stop this mode so quickly.
Can you help me understand why reflectors are better for LEDs?From the graph Oreo just posted, there isn't much of a change. I have an ATI Straton and I researched the Pro version.
The Pro looks to have the same LED layout, and as Oreo said, it uses reflectors instead of a diffuser. Reflectors are the way to go for LED.
