As an asipiring reefer, and a broke college student, one of my dream fish post graduation is a powder blue tang. I’ve done lots of research and am planning my large tank all around this fish. Unfortunately they are very fragile fish and take lots of time to get accustomed to tank life. One trend I’ve noticed with this hobby is that the most beautiful of fish are most likely very difficult to keep. With the powder blue tangs the issues I see are feeding and disease which I feel that successful aquaculturing would help solve those issues making them more resistant and tank raised from the start! If anyone knows of any companies or people who have begun aquaculturing them or tank raised I would love to look more into them!

Fishotel has them sometimes and his fish are *chefs kiss*

But I think if you want one you would need to take quarantining seriously of everything in your tank that is.
