Given the price, it seems they are still unavailable.

That's usually what he's been selling his Hawaiian fish for. I'm sure you have noticed the price on Kole tangs out of Hawaii right? Plus it's the most recently added fish to his wrasse section. Anyways I was just wondering.

Best,

Honestly no.
The only wrasse coming out of Hawaii that we know of is the Bird Wrasse. The other wrasses don’t seem to be entering any time soon. There’s a list of 10 species that have been let into the hobby again;
Yellow Tangs
Black Tangs
Naso Tangs
Scopas Tangs
Thompsons Tangs
Kole Tangs
Potters Angels
Bird Wrasse

So this will likely keep prices for other fish rather high unfortunately.

They will but we dont have anyone with a license over in Hawaii yet. And they’re supposedly a PITA to get hold of, so it’s likely we won’t see them again for a while.

Blacks are already available in the hobby wild caught even without Hawaii however they’re best known from Hawaii.
