I have three tanks. I wanted a clown fish and my mom picked one out. Still have it. On occasion I tried to purchase others. Mind you I’m new in this hobby. They would last a few days and either disappear or wind up on my living room floor. Could not figure out what was happening. After 6 clown fish I went to my local lfs and told him what was happening. He told me that the clownfish I had was also nipping at me. He asked what color it was. I said Maroon. There you go, a begginers mistake. But dang it took me a couple months to figure it out.
