I love the look of the fixtures, the color, the controllability, mounting arms, the list of good things goes on and on. They are very good all around fixtures that pack a punch in a small package.

Had one over my 60g cube for ~18 months. Love the look, love the mount (additional, but not terribly expensive). Love the built in timer. Love the moonlight function. Creates good 'shimmer' in the tank. No heat, low electrical usage, great color range, quiet... loved everything about it. Except. Growth rates of my corals were very slow. Colors were good, didn't have anything fade out or go brown on me, but I just couldn't deal with the growth rate.

That said... was the growth rate due to the light? I don't know. Could well have been something else, water quality, lack of some nutrient, I just don't know. What I do know is that my old system was growing corals much, much faster. I hung a 250w DE 14,000k Hamilton over the tank a month or so back. Check back with me in a year, and we'll see.

I did re-use the Halo mount, with some minor modification, to hang my Bimini Sun reflector. Like I said, love the mount :)

I like that it's controllable, sleek, and that it has the UV LEDs!
