Aquascaping 4ft FOWLR tank inspo?

When you have a FOWLR tank I feel like the aesthetics of the aquascape are really important because corals wont be able to cover and add the extra ~spice~ to the structures

I am looking for inspo for a new 4ft tank. I don't want something that looks crowded and may eventually add some softies but overall want something balanced that would be able to accommodate an engineered goby.

mine will not be 4ft but 70x30. but yes I hear you I broke the bank on some nice dry rock.
have yet to do the aquascape tho. hopefully it worth the $$$ I spent on the rocks. got branch, arches and base. 4 boes of the cornerstone/tide line stuff.

I don't have any pictures, but with a FOWLR, I like minimalistic island aquascapes on a bare bottom. The purpose should be to draw attention to the beautiful fish, and rock walls/arches/NSA tend to draw away from that. I've also found that when kept over a lighter substrate (sand/white starboard), fish colors can sort of wash out. As such, black starboard or even just plain glass will help to draw out those colors. Hope this helps!

I keep reading, "Don't put multiple tangs in a single tank" -- what's that? 9? This hobby get's very confusing.

Its a matter of planning, knowledge and providing good. . . hiding-water quality- diet.
