True corals are sessile(can't move). You need a source of nutrients, but that can achieved through dosing. You would definitely need to replenish elements (kh, calcium, magnesium, are the big ones) you can do that through water changes in the beginning, but once they grow you will have to switch to dosing.I got question can I have just heater, filter, light and wave-maker just only that for the corals to be happy and does the corals move to the flow of the tank and do coral help act like filter the water just like plants do
In my opinion, no. Corals need nitrates (and phosphates) to survive and feed, but they don't "suck it up" like submersed plants do. This means that you will need to keep an eye on nitrate levels, and not let them get too high or too low, balance is key. It sounds like you are starting up you're first tank so be sure to do lots of research before starting.Do Coral suck up nitrates and other minerals just like plants
