Have two peppermints now. Happy as clams. Molted several times.You could also add a peppermint shrimp or sea hare. If you want to kill them without adding livestock you could use F-aptasia(it has worked for some) or you could manually remove the rock dip the hydroids in peroxide and scrub them off.

Anyone know what these are? Had little homes inside purple coraline algae, would retract if bothered. When brown algae bloomed on this rock (only this one rock) it ate all the purple coraline algae and these little guys too! Brown algae has been gone long time.The original green fairy flowers.
These things will multiply quickly and grab suspended food favoring brine shrimp. You can direct water flow towards them, not at them and they will soon starve. You can also remove the rock to a container of tank water and scrape/scrub them off
