Hello everyone. Would appreciate if you could reply to this question of mine.
I recently bought the apex. I connected the salinity probe, placed the packet of calibration solution in my tank for like 5 minutes. My tank is currently at 30 degree Celsius. That’s because I still don’t have my chiller plugged in. Will be doing that soon. Was I supposed to change the temp compensation to calibrate, and if so by how much? I forgot to check the reading of the probe while it was in the solution after calibration. So I’m kind of helpless here. My refractometer is reading 1.024 and probe reading is 1.017. Would be very helpful if someone can help me out here. Thanks in advance

Temperature Does have effect on salinity. Also assure there is no air bubbles collected under the probe which will throw you off
